LEADERSHIP ARCHETYPES Program

Stopping leadership drift. Strengthening collective efficacy.

A structured leadership process that helps individual leaders and leadership teams understand how they lead, recognise predictable drift, and design ways of working that hold under pressure.

The Leadership Challenge

Schools are led by capable, committed professionals. Yet in environments shaped by constant urgency, leadership effort can gradually drift.

This drift is not a failure of skill, intent, or care.

It is the predictable result of pressure amplifying default leadership patterns.

When leadership drifts, effort increases.
When effort doesn’t create impact, belief erodes.
And when belief erodes, leadership becomes unsustainable.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

A deliberate structure that prevents learning from drifting.

The program has three core sessions introducing insight and direction. Each one is followed by a facilitated Alignment Session supporting application and recalibration, so leaders notice drift early and can adjust before misalignment becomes habit.

Also available as a one-day workshop, live or virtual. Contact us for more details.

Session 1 - Mar 17

YOUR INDIVIDUAL LEADERSHIP ARCHETYPE
Understanding your leadership signature — and how it shifts under pressure.

Leaders identify their primary and secondary leadership archetypes and examine how these patterns shape decision-making, communication, and influence.

Predictable drift patterns are surfaced and named, allowing leaders to see how their strengths intensify or narrow under pressure — creating clarity, agency, and choice without judgement.

Session 2 - Apr 22

FROM INDIVIDUAL ARCHETYPES TO
COLLECTIVE DRIFT
Seeing how leadership patterns combine — and where effort begins to leak.

Leaders gain insight into how their own archetype is experienced by others, and where strengths may unintentionally create friction, duplication, or misalignment.

Building on this individual clarity, leadership teams map how archetypes interact in practice — identifying predictable points of collective drift and the conditions under which leadership effort fragments under pressure.

Session 3 - May 27

THE COLLECTIVE EFFICACY PROTOCOL
Designing a shared way of working that holds under pressure.

Leaders clarify how they personally lead at their best, how they recalibrate under pressure, and how they contribute deliberately to collective leadership.

From this individual clarity, leadership teams translate insight into explicit, shared agreements about decision-making, communication, pace, and recalibration — creating a practical protocol that protects alignment and collective efficacy over time.

Who this is for

Leadership Archetypes is designed for individual leaders and leadership teams who want leadership effort to translate into lasting impact — even as pressure increases.

It resonates most strongly with leaders who recognise that:

  • how leadership shows up matters as much as what is being led
  • sustained impact depends on coordinated leadership behaviour
  • clarity and shared understanding reduce unnecessary effort
  • effectiveness and sustainability must exist together, not in tension

This is not about changing who leaders are —  it is about making leadership behaviour visible, aligned, and deliberate.

What you'll receive when you participate:
Participants leave with practical insight and usable structures, including:
  • a Leadership Archetype Diagnostic and individual profile
  • a Leadership Team Archetype Map showing interaction patterns
  • clear insight into predictable drift — individual and collective
  • a Personal Leadership Protocol for intentional recalibration
  • a team-designed Collective Efficacy Protocol
  • three facilitated Alignment Sessions to support application
  • access to all tools, templates, and materials
  • ongoing access to the alumni leadership community

Everything is designed to be applied immediately and refined over time.

What this program protects and rebuilds:

Aligned leadership: Leadership behaviour is coordinated rather than accidental. Messages hold. Decisions translate. Direction is consistent beyond the meeting room.

Collective efficacy: Leadership teams regain confidence that working together creates real impact. Effort converts into traction, not just activity.

Sustainable leadership: Responsibility is shared. Drift is noticed early.  Leadership becomes something that can be sustained — not merely endured.

PRINCIPAL AND LEADERSHIP TEAM VOICES

The change isn’t dramatic. It’s decisive.

“We weren’t broken, but we were drifting. This gave us a shared language to see what was happening and reset how we lead together.”

Principal, metropolitan secondary school

“For the first time, our leadership effort feels aligned. We’re doing less explaining, less compensating, and getting more traction.”

Principal, regional primary school
